WHY EASYCHAMBER: Using a pMDI alone can be challenging, especially for children and the elderly. MDIs can spray medication up to100 km/h, causing medication to be deposited at the back of your throat or roof of your mouth. This can lead to side effects. Patient coordination can be difficult, especially during an asthma attack. Often, patients breathe in too quickly.

Directions:

• Shake the assembled inhaler and spacer unit well. Insert the inhaler into the back of the chamber. Seal your lips around the mouthpiece (or ensure a tight mask fit). Press the inhaler once to release one puff of medicine into the chamber. Breathe in slowly and steadily. Hold your breath for up to 10 seconds (or take 5-10 breaths if using a mask or multiple breath technique).
