Gaviscon Liquid brings fast, soothing and long lasting relief for up to 4 hours from heartburn, indigestion and acid reflux. It relieves hartburn by forming a protective barrier over the stomach contents to help soothe burning sensation in your chest so, for symptoms of heartburn Gaviscon can help provide fast, soothing relief. You can take this product if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. Medicines can affect the unborn baby. Always speak to doctor or pharmacist before using medicine in pregnancy. Ingredients:

Each 10 ml dose contains sodium alginate 500 mg, Sodium bicarbonate 267mg and calcium carbonate 160mg. Carbomer, methyl (E218) and propyl (E216) parahydroxybenzoates, sodium saccharin, peppermint oil, sodium hydroxide and water.See leaflet for further information. RKT-M-06984

Directions:

• For oral use. Adults, including the elderly and children 12 years and over: Take 10-20ml (two to four 5ml spoonful’s) after meals and at bedtime.
• Children under 12 years: Should only take on medical advice. If symptoms persists after 7 days consult your doctor.
