Gaviscon Advance Chewable Tablets are an effective remedy for those suffering from heartburn, acid indigestion, and acid regurgitation. These conditions often arise post-meal or during pregnancy. The dual-action formula of the tablets both neutralizes excess stomach acid and creates a protective barrier on the stomach contents, which helps prevent the acid from irritating the oesophagus. Available in a pack of 60 with a refreshing peppermint flavour, they offer quick, soothing, and durable relief.

Ingredients:

Each tablet contains sodium alginate 500 mg and potassium bicarbonate 100 mg. Other ingredients: Mannitol, Calcium carbonate, Macrogol 20,000, Magnesium stearate, Aspartame, Mint flavour no. 3, Acesulfame potassium, Copovidone

Directions:

• For oral administration. Chew thoroughly before swallowing.
• Adults and children over 12 years: When symptoms occur take one to two tablets after meals and at bedtime.
• Children under 12 years: Should only be taken on medical advice.
• If you forget a dose it is not necessary to double the dose next time, just carry on taking as before.

Safety Warnings:

• This medicine contains sodium, potassium and calcium. If you have been advised to follow a diet restricted in either of these salts please consult your doctor before taking this product.
• If you have phenylketonuria, note that this product is sweetened with aspartame (E951), a source of phenylalanine. See enclosed leaflet for further information.
